Summer Sailing Classes @ the Y Kawaihae

Youth ages 10-18 can learn to sail with Y at the Kawaihae South Harbor. We offer 4-day workshops with formal instruction to teach new sailors the basics of sailing, safety, teamwork, and boat handling.

Schedule for Summer 2021:

BEGINNERS/INTRO YOUTH SAILING

• June 14, 15, 16, 17 – Register
• June 21, 22, 23, 24 – Register
• June 28, 29, 30, July 1 – Register

ADVANCED YOUTH SAILING

• July 6, 7, 8, 9 – Register

All classes start at 9:00 am and end at 2:00 pm.  Must be a member of the YMCA to participate in Sailing Classes. Participants are responsible for providing their own transportation to Kawaihae South Harbor. Visit our Sailing Program page for more information or login to the Member Portal for registration.
